Reciro helps users scan receipts, track expenses, organize spending by category, and review monthly product and merchant habits.
This Privacy Policy explains what information the app handles, how it is used, and what users should know before uploading receipt photos or PDFs.
Information The App May Handle
- Receipt photos selected or captured by the user

- Monthly income values entered by the user
- App preferences such as language, currency, and account choice
- Receipt analysis usage count used for the free monthly analysis limit
- Feedback messages sent by the user through the app
- Anonymous advertising and usage limit information for rewarded ads
Receipt Photos, PDFs, And AI Analysis
When the user chooses AI receipt analysis, the receipt image or PDF is sent to Reciro's receipt analysis server. The server processes the file and may use OpenAI services to extract structured receipt information such as store name, date, total amount, category, and item details.
AI analysis can make mistakes. Users should review and edit the analysis result before saving or relying on it.
Users should not upload receipts or documents that contain information they do not want processed by the analysis service.
Local Storage
In the current release, receipt data, receipt photos, PDF references, income entries, currency, monthly payments, budgets, and related settings are stored locally on the user's device unless a future cloud feature is enabled.
Feedback
If users send feedback from the app, the message is sent to Reciro's support email address through the feedback service when available. If the service is unavailable, the app may offer an email fallback. The feedback may include the message written by the user and basic app context such as selected language and currency.
Payments And Premium
If Reciro offers paid features, payment processing is handled by the App Store or Google Play. Reciro does not directly collect or store card details.
Advertising
Reciro may show rewarded ads through Google AdMob. Users may choose to watch a rewarded ad to receive an extra receipt analysis credit. AdMob may process technical advertising data according to Google's policies.
Data Security
Reciro uses reasonable technical measures, including server-side environment variables for API keys, token-protected receipt analysis requests, and HTTPS communication with backend services.
No system can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure. Users should avoid uploading sensitive documents that are not needed for personal expense tracking.
Children's Privacy
Reciro is designed for personal finance tracking and is not directed to children.
